The Nigerian Navy who has earlier suspended the resumption for training of successful candidates of the NNBTS Batch 30, has disclosed the newly released resumption date for Nigerian Navy Batch 29B (30 AK) Training.
The candidates were initially scheduled to commence training at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne Port-Harcourt, Rivers State on 8 May 2020.
However, this resumption date was no longer feasible in view of the current national efforts at containing the spread of COVID-19.
The newly resumption date for the commencement of batch 29B training was disclosed today Tuesday 15th, 2020 in a Nigerian Navy press release.
It stated, Nigerian Navy Successful Candidates of NNBTS Batch 29B to report for Training.
The Naval Headquarters has given approval for successful candidates of NNBTS Batch 29B to report for training at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, Port harcout, Rivers State.
The candidates are to report for the basic training in 3 groups from 19 September as follows:
a. Group 1: Saturday 19 Sep 20 - Abia, Akwa-ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross-river, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo and Rivers.
All states who fall in this group, are to report on 19th of September, 2020, to the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, Port Harcout, Rivers.
b. Group 2: Saturday 26 Sep 20 - Adamawa, Bauchi, Ekiti, FCT, Gombe, Kaduna, Kebbi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Plateau and Taraba.
All the states who is in this category are to report on the 26th Sep, 2020, for training at NNBTS Onne, PH, Rivers state.
This will be 7 days after the first sets as resumed for training and have already gone through some training activities, enrollment and documentations.
c. Group 3: Saturday 3 Oct 20 - Borno, Jigawa, Kano, Kastina, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara.
This will also be 7 days after Group 2 has reported for training.
