Singer Opeyemi Babatunde Rahim, popularly known as Lyta, has been signed to Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. This is coming after Popular rapper, Olamide dumped Lyta in 2019.
Kemi Filani News recalls that Lyta’s record deal with YBNL (Olamide’s record label) Nation was made public on 3 February 2018.
Lyta’s breakthrough single with YBNL Nation, titled “Time”, features vocals by Olamide and was released on 14 February 2018.
In 2019, Lyta left YBNL Nation due to contractual and personal issues. 9jaedublog reports.
After exiting YBNL, he signed with Doro Musik Gang and released the Killer Tunes-produced track “Monalisa” on 12 July 2019.

Naira Marley made the announcement on his Instagram page with a photo of himself and Lyta signing the contract papers on the bed into Marlian Music.
“Welcome to MarlianMusic @official_lyta 🎶🎥🔥” Naira Marley wrote.
Lyta also shared same photo on his Instagram page and wrote;
“I’m so excited to be joining my new family Marlian music, thank you my President @nairamarley for giving me this amazing opportunity💛⚡️”
Lyta signed a record deal with YBNL Nation in 2018 but left the label in May 2019 after having a disagreement with Olamide. He released the 5-track debut EP Id in 2019.

There was excitement as the T’s were crossed and I’s were dotted in a photo which the controversial rapper shared online. Recall that Lyta signed a record deal with YBNL Nation in 2018 but left the label in May 2019 after having a disagreement with label boss, Olamide.
